Manipur CM hosts discussion session on effective tackling of COVID-19 and other lockdown issues

<span style="color: #222222;">Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh hosted a discussion session on effective tackling of the pandemic COVID-19 and other issues faced by people due to lockdown with the leaders of different tribal communities of the state at Imphal today.<br />''<br />''Around 60 leaders representing the apex bodies of different tribal communities took part in the discussion. The key intent behind holding the discussion today is to know the grievances of hill people in the aftermath of spread of COVID-19 and nationwide lockdown.<br />''<br />''The Chief Minister discussed with the leaders regarding requirement of a strategy to impart the right awareness at the grassroots level on COVID-19. He urged the leaders to ignore rumours on COVID-19 and trust only the advisories and guidelines issued by government or credible agencies request all to be careful and take up effective steps on time to stop spread of the virus.<br />''<br />''During the discussion, Mr Singh announced that a museum each of all the tribal communities of Manipur would be constructed in their originating villages at the cost of 10 lakh rupees each. Ancient tools, articles, costumes and other articles of respective communities would be kept in these museums. A heritage park would be developed at Keibul Lamjao where traditional house models of all the communities of the state would be kept at the park.</span><br />
