<span style="color: #222222;">In Manipur, the Chief Minister N. Biren Singh had an extensive discussion about the present COVID-19 situation of the State with health experts of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) today.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">RIMS of Imphal is a premier medical institute in North East Region and under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">During the discussion, Shri Biren said that the main purpose of his interaction with doctors and nurses of RIMS was to identify the prime reason for increase in the number of casualties in the past few days. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He also sought suggestions from doctors to check this rise and preparation to curb down the number of COVID-19 positive cases in the forthcoming months.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Chief Minister also assured the RIMS that he would soon apprise the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare about the urgent need to increase the number of COVID-19 beds in the hospital.</span><br />''  <br />
