Amidst continued stalemate over the NSCM (IM) leader Mr. T. Muibah's proposed visit to Manipur, the Chief Minister Mr. Ibobi Singh has appealed to the people to remain calm. In a statement issued in Imphal, Mr. Ibobi Singh said, measures have been taken-up to normalise the situation in the state and assured that arrangements are being made to maintain essential supplies on an emergency basis.<br/>
