The nation is celebrating the second anniversary of POSHAN Abhiyaan with various activities during Poshan Pakhwada started from the 8th of March. In Manipur, activities focusing on increasing male engagement in POSHAN Abhiyaan are being conducted with the precautionary modalities after the outbreak of Novel Coronavirus and yet, the state has recorded a higher number of participants in the campaign. <br />'' <br />'' AIR Correspondent reports, the two-week long Poshan Pakhwada-2020 is being celebrated at different parts of Manipur. State Social Welfare Department has been conducting campaigns to mobilize male participation to improve nutritional indicators. There are a number of Sectors within a district and gathering of Anganwadi Workers and the public has been restricted to minimal.<br />'' <br />'' Deputy Director of State Social Welfare Department Smt. Ela Magdalene told AIR News that campaign at Sector level has been going on successfully with encouraging male participation. So far, the State recorded 33.77 lakh participation with over 14,340 activities. <br />''
