Manipur celebrates 'Khong Kam' Day today

In Manipur, 'Khong Kam' Day is being celebrated on Friday as a mark of respect to those brave sons of Manipur who made supreme sacrifice in 1891. <br/> <br/>Speaking on the occasion, the Governor of Manipur, Mr. Gurbachan Jagat appealed to all the people of Manipur to reject all differences and strengthen the bonds of unity, peace and harmony. <br/> <br/>Mr. Okram Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister of Manipur said, the need of the hour is to safeguard the integrity and sovereignty of the country.<br/>
