Manipur Cabinet Minister Nemcha Kipgen tests positive of COVID-19

In Manipur, the State Social Welfare and Co-Operation Minister Nemcha Kipgen has tested positive of COVID-19.<br />'' <br />''The State Minister Nemcha Kipgen took to Twitter today to announce that she tested positive for Coronavirus. She tested at a private diagnostics centre after getting symptoms of COVID-19. The minister has isolated herself and is stable now.<br />'' <br />''In the past 24 hours, 82 persons including 8 personnel of the Central Armed Police Force were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases in Manipur while 99 persons were discharged. The recovery rate is also encouragingly improved and registered 70.02 per cent today.<br />'' <br />''On the other hand, two females aged 73 year and 41 years old expired at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in the last 24 hours in the State due to COVID-19 and other co-morbid health conditions. The total fatality due the pandemic has increased to 24 in the State.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The cumulative number of positive cases in the State is 5,444 while the total number of discharged cases is 3,812. The active case is 1,608. The recovery rate has improved to 70.02 per cent.</span><br />
