In Manipur, State Cabinet decided on Monday evening to hand over the murder cases of Irom Roger Singh and Board of Secondary Education Manipur Chairman Dr. N Kunjabihari Singh to the Central Bureau of Investigation. State Youth Affairs and Sports Minister N. Biren Singh also attended the Cabinet meeting. Five accused persons including the Minister's son Ajay Meitei have been remanded to judicial custody for alleged involvement in the murder case of Irom Roger. The Board of Secondary Education, Manipur Chairman Dr. N Kunjabihari was shot dead inside his office chamber in January last.
