In Manipur, state Cabinet has decided to extend the Disturbed Area Status for another one year in the state from today.Official sources said, the state Cabinet meeting held last evening chaired by Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh reviewed the prevailing situation in the state. The Cabinet meeting also discussed reports submitted by the Police, Assam Rifles and Army regarding the law and order situation in Manipur.Later, it was decided to extend the disturbed area status for another one year all over the state except the seven assembly constituencies under the Imphal Municipal Area from where the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act had already been withdrawn.
