Mohammad Ismat of Manipur has topped the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Class XII Examinations, 2012. He scored 498 marks out of 500 in the Examination. The results of all regions were declared yesterday. Ismat is the only son among seven children of Maulana Basirur Rahman and Shahjahan Begum of Lilong Mayai Leikai in Thoubal district of the state.
