In Manipur, the indefinite economic blockade on the National Highways is continuing. Our correspondent reports that hike in prices and scarcity of essential commodities have affected people. As an immediate measure to contain this, the state administration is making all efforts to bring essential commodities under tight security to the capital Imphal,along the Imphal-Jiribam Road of National Highway-53.
