In Manipur, BJP candidate Leishemba Sanajaoba, titular King of Manipur won the lone Rajya Sabha election. The counting has just concluded and official announcement has been made. Shri Sanajaoba got 28 votes while his competitor Congress candidate T. Mangibabu got 24 votes.<br />'' <br />'' Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh while congratulating the newly elected member said, the people of Manipur has shown co operation and love to the present BJP led government.
