Manipur Assembly Elections: Congress criticizes BJP's manifesto, calls it report card of dark era of last five years

<span style="color: #222222;">In Manipur, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said that the election Manifesto of BJP released today by BJP National President JP Nadda is a report card of the dark era of the last five years under BJP led state government.<br />''<br />''Speaking at a press conference held today at Imphal today, Shri Jairam Ramesh said that the BJP Manifesto has not mentioned any points on Armed Forces Special Powers Act, 1958, issues on boundary, Naga Peace Talk, protection of indigenous people.<br />''<br />''He said that the BJP led state government has not been able to handle the Covid-19 situation in Manipur and only 47 percent of beneficiaries are given complete doses of Covid-19 vaccine. Manipur has become the state which has the lowest vaccination rate in India.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, BJP National President JP Nadda said that Manipur has accelerated in development, and peace and normalcy returned during the regime of BJP led state government. Speaking to the media person during the release of BJP Election Manifesto today, Shri Nadda said that the state government has eradicated the drug menace in the State in a short period and governance has reached the nook and corner of the State. The BJP led government has been able to convert the State from the land of Band and Blockade to the land of peace and development.</span><br />
