During the operation, the combined force rescued the victim and apprehended the Kidnapper who demanded rupees six lakh in lieu of the release of the victim.<br />''<br />''On the other hand, Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter IG Assam Rifles (South) busted a godown used for stocking of narcotics along with other incriminating items during a search operation conducted in Moreh town yesterday.<br />''<br />''During the operation, around 30 kg of WY tablets, 400 grams of Heroin powder, five kg of Caffeine, 2.5 kg of Crystal powder, 8 kg of Gold Dust, 7970 numbers of Alprazolam tablets were recovered. The overall cost of seized items was approximately fifteen crore rupees in the international market. One individual was apprehended in the operation and was handed over to the Police for further investigation.</span><br />
