Biren Singh said that around three thousand families had been relocated from relief camps to newly constructed prefabricated houses. Speaking at a function for financial assistance for children's education whose parents are Labour Card holders, Shri Biren said that the Central Government would provide financial assistance for the construction of new houses for those whose houses had been burnt down in the ethnic violence. Process for the same has been initiated, he said.&nbsp;</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The Chief Minister said that the experts from various departments had been assisting displaced people so that these people could take up suitable activities for earning their livelihood. He also said that the Government would start providing blankets to relief camps as winter season arrives in the State.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The Government would also provide compensation to those farmers whose agricultural land could not be cultivated due to the ethnic violence. The Ministry of Home Affairs has sanctioned an amount of thirty-eight crore sixty lakh rupees for the same, the Chief Minister said.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">Ministers, MLAs, and top civil officers attended the financial assistance distribution function held at the CM Secretariat today.
