Biren Singh said that around three thousand families had been relocated from relief camps to newly constructed prefabricated houses. Speaking at a function for financial assistance for children's education whose parents are Labour Card holders, Shri Biren said that the Central Government would provide financial assistance for the construction of new houses for those whose houses had been burnt down in the ethnic violence.
