Manipur Cabinet today approved devolution of powers to District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) in the hill districts. The cabinet meeting was presided by the Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh in Imphal. N Biren Singh, spokesperson of the government said that DRDA projects would be taken up by Autonomous District Councils(ADC). The ADC was revived in hill districts of Manipur and elections were held recently. The Cabinet also discussed about the position of teachers in various institutions, regularisation of employees in various departments.
