Manipur all set to host first of four G20's B-20 sessions scheduled in North East on Feb 17

<span style="color: #222222;">In Manipur, the State is all set to host the first of the four B-20 sessions scheduled in the North East tomorrow, which is the official G-20 dialogue forum for the global business community.<br />'' <br />'' The B-20 conference scheduled on the 17th of February will be graced by Chief Minister Nongthombam Biren Singh while Union Minister of State for Commerce & Industries Som Prakash and Union Minister of State for External Affairs & Education Dr Rajkumar Ranjan Singh will also attend the programme.<br />'' <br />'' Briefing media persons at Imphal this afternoon, State's Education Minister Thounaojam Basantakumar said that the event will witness the convergence of a host of overseas delegates from 23 nations representing Australia, Argentina, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Chad, Canada, China, France, Greece, Iceland, Japan, Nepal, Russia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, Tunisia, Uganda, United States and United Kingdom. He further mentioned that the dignitaries include 26 overseas business delegates and 24 diplomats including Ambassadors from these countries and India. Incoming Trade and Business delegations and representatives from Bhutan, Bangladesh, Japan and Australia will also participate at the programme.<br />'' <br />'' The Minister further stated that the State Government has made elaborate arrangements for the three days event to showcase the potential of the State on Health & Family Welfare, Skill Development, Sports, Urban Development, Textiles, Finance & Taxation, Tourism, Industries & Commerce, IT, Agriculture and Fisheries. As part of the programme, the Chief Minister will also facilitate Business to Business and Business to Government meetings. Visiting overseas business delegates would get the opportunity to interact with the local industry during the B2B and with the Government in the B2G session for potential investment, collaboration and tie-ups.<br />'' <br />''The B-20 delegates will also visit some of the important places of the state such as Shri Shri Govindaji Temple in Imphal, Marjing Hill, Loktak Lake, INA Headquarters at Moirang, Sangai Ethnic Park and the famous Ima Market (Women's Market) as part of the programme.</span><br />
