Mangalore air crash: members of Court of Inquiry meet

The members of the Court of Inquiry investigating the Mangalore air crash held its first meeting in New Delhi today to work out modalities of inquiry. They will hold another round of discussions tomorrow. The members of the Inquiry Committee will be visiting the crash site in Karnataka soon. The Court of Inquiry Committee led by Air Marshal B. N. Gokhale was set up by the government yesterday. Explaining the mandate of the Committee, the Civil Aviation Minister Mr. Praful Patel said that it will investigate all aspects of the air crash and has been asked to submit its report by 31st of August. The Committee was set up immediately after the first meeting on aviation security which was attended among others by representatives from the US Federal Aviation Authority, Boeing and Air Bus organisations. <br/> <br/>
