Union Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi has requested the Ministries of Culture and Information and Broadcasting to help vocalist and playback singer Mubarak Begum, who is bedridden. <br/><br/>She tweeted that it is sad to see the celebrated singer suffering. Mubarak Begum, who sings in Hindi and Urdu, was a popular playback singer in Bollywood films during the 1950s and 1960s. She sang in the films like 'Hamari Yaad Aayegi', Juaari, Devdas and Hamraahi.
