Union Minister for women and child development Maneka Gandhi today appealed the village heads for multi-faceted development of villages . <br/><br/>She said country can be developed only with the development of villages. Ms. Maneka Gandhi was addressing a meeting of Gram Pradhans (Village Heads) on 'Gramoday Se Bharat Uday ' programme at Pilibhit district in Uttar Pradesh today. <br/><br/>Recounting the welfare schemes of union government, she said that every needy person should be given loan under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ambitious scheme MUDRA Yojana. <br/><br/>On the occasion Mrs.Gandhi also laid stone of six roads to be constructed with cost rupees 154 crores under central government funding. Mrs. Maneka Gandhi is on a two -day visit of her parliamentary constituency Pilibhit. Tomorrow she will be distributing artificial limbs , helping aids and tool-kits to the Divyangs.
