Blaming police laxity for the gangrape of two Dalit sisters in the Badaun district, Union Women and Child Welfare Minister Maneka Gandhi today said that a “rape crisis cell” will be constituted for speedy action on such incidents.

The Minister said that she would recommend a CBI probe into the incident if the family members of the victims want.

Meanwhile, the postmortem report of the two girls has confirmed that they were raped before murder, reports PTI.
