Women and Child Development Minister, Maneka Gandhi today launched a training programme for women Sarpanches through video conferencing in New Delhi. <br/><br/>Mrs Gandhi said women Sarpanches should teach every one to use BHEEM app. She said they should also take care of MGNREGA expenses Account Book. <br/><br/>Mrs Gandhi asked the women Sarpanches to work with Anganwadi workers for delevelment of village. The Minister said if girls are safe then the entire village will be safe.<br/><br/>On the occasion, Panchayati Raj Minister Narendra Singh Tomar asked women Sarpanches to ensure that every one in their village are added with ADHAR. He said currently 13 lakh women Sarpanches are working in the country.<br/>
