Trinamool Congress Chief Mamta Banerjee described her win as historic. She thanked the people of Bengal and Sonia Gandhi for their support in her landslide victory. Ms Banerjee said that it is the victory of the downtrodden people who have been deprived of basic facilities in the last 34 years rule of the Left Front. She said it is the victory of Maa, Matti, Manus.
