Ms. Banerjee met senior Congress leader Pranab Mukherjee in Kolkata last night to discuss the formation of the new government. The participation of the Congress in the new government was also discussed at the meeting in the presence of AICC general secretary in-charge of West Bengal, Shakil Ahmed. The Congress has also called a meeting of its newly elected members to the Assembly in the state capital today to take their views on joining the government.
