Mammogram reduces risk of breast cancer death

A study of 461 women who died of breast cancer in the American State of Massacusets has found that 71 per cent of them never had a mammogram.<br/> <br/>A research which was reported at a meeting of American Society of Clinical Oncology followed nearly seven thousand women who had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Women who had been in a screening programme had only a five per cent risk of dying compared to fifty six per cent of those who had never been screened. <br/> <br/>
