The West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Tuesday that the Centre should talk to all political parties before arriving at a consensus on the Lokpal Bill. Sticking to her stand, she said that it should be left to the states to set up Lokayuktas on the model they choose. Miss Banerjee was talking to media-persons at the state Secretariat in Kolkata on Tuesday. The TMC Chief said that she wants to set up Lokakukta but does not follow the Central model and asked what if she can set up a better model of Lokayukta. Speaking on the Lokpal logjam, she said that in the Lok Sabha her party took the stand that the Bill should not bulldoze the federal structure. Miss Banerjee said that she is not in favour of toppling the UPA Government but would continue to speak on the issues that affect common people.
