Railway Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday received cheques of dividend amounting to around 311 crore rupees for the year 2009-10 from seven Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)under the Ministry in New Delhi. Chairman and Managing Directors of seven PSUs including Container Corporation of Indian Limited (CONCOR), Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC), IRCON International Limited, Railtel Corporation of India Limited (RCIL), RITES Limited, Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) handed over cheques separately to the Railway Minister. The total dividend paid by these seven PSUs in the financial year 2008-09 amounted to 281.56 crore rupees.
