Mamata pays tribute to victims of AMRI hospital fire

The West Bengal Chief Minister Ms. Mamata Banerjee on Monday paid tributes to the people, who lost their lives in the tragic fire which took place at the AMRI hospital in Kolkata in the wee hours of last Friday. Kolkata Police had arranged for this programme at Rabindra Sarovar. The Chief Minister reiterated her Government’s commitment to pay 3 lakh rupees to the kin of the dead and one Government job for each family of the deceased.Meanwhile, a candle light vigil and condolence meet for the victims of AMRI fire has been arranged from the Birla Planetarium to the Gandhi Statue at the Maidan in Kolkata later on Monday evening. The programme will culminate with a one hour all-religion prayer meet. The Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will lead the candle-light procession.
