West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee laid the foundation stone for an International Financial Hub at New Town in Rajarhat in North 24 Parganas District today. Banerjee said that, the Financial Hub will help to attract investment and also to creat employment generation. She said that, the Hub will create and investment potential of 1 lakh 60 thousand crore rupees in next five years besides, creations of 2 lakh new jobs.

Banerjee appealed to the captains of the industry to invest in the State and assured all kind of help. She said that, the Government will set up Police Commission rates in all Industrial belts in the State to maintained law and order.

AIR Correspondent reports that representatives from foreign Consulates, Financial Institutions, Banking Sector and Chambers of Commerce were present at the function.
