The Railway Minister, Miss Mamata Banerjee today flagged off the weekly Howrah-Puducherry Express. The initiative of this train has been taken by the South-eastern Railway to mark the Centenary of Shri Arobindo’s journey from Kolkata to Puduchery. <br/><br/>The Railway Minister said that the Indian Railways not only carries passengers but also the ideals of secularism, friendship and brotherhood. She said Rishi Arobindo’s spirituality will give birth to a new culture of tolerance and compassion in the country.<br/><br/>It may be mentioned that an exhibition on Rishi Arobindo’s life and times would projected in the train.<br/>
