Standing by her Delhi counterpart, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, the West Bengal Chief Minister Ms. Mamata Banerjee today expressed shock over the CBI being sent to raid Mr. Kejriwal's office. Addressing a public meeting at Gajole in Malda district Ms. Banerjee ,in an apparent reference to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party at the Centre, Ms. Banerjee went hammer and tongs against the central government for taking away funds from her state towards debt repayment, Ms. Banerjee said, her party would intensify protests on the issue. She said the huge debt was incurred by the erstwhile Left Front government led by the Communist Party of India-Marxist during 34 years of its rule.
