The West Bengal Chief Minister Miss Mamata Banerjee today distributed Kishan Credit Cards valued at 60 crore rupees to 12 thousand farmers. Speaking on the occasion at Basirhat in North 24 Parganas district Miss Banerjee said that the government will set up cold storages in each block of the state besides extending facilities for crops insurance. The Chief Minister also distributed loans to the farmers for procuring agricultural equipments and also laid the foundation stone for setting up four Kisan Mandies in the district.
