The West Bengal Chief Minister Ms. Mamata Banerjee has called for increased co-operation among financial institutions, food departments and fertilizer centers, to step up growth. She was speaking in favour of a single window system in the agricultural sector. This she said will help farmers in a big way. So that they are not harrassed to make repeated visits to various organosations like banks, financial institutions, fertilizer and food depertment. Ms. Banerjee said on facebook that during the first meeting of the committee of Chief Ministers of Bringing Green Revolution to Eastern India (BGREI) she had made several suggestions and considerations’ including reducig the increased prices of fertilizers.The Chief Minister said, it is also necessary that there should be proper coordination amongst all organs connected to agriculture sector.
