West Bengal Chief Minister designate and Trinamool Congress Chief Mamata Banerjee will hold consultations with Congress President Sonia Gandhi later in the day to discuss the government formation in the state. The Congress president today held consultations with senior party colleagues on the issue of her party's participation in the West Bengal government. AIR correspondent reports, Ms Gandhi held talks with her political secretary Ahmed Patel and senior leader Shakeel Ahmed, who is in charge of party affairs for West Bengal.
