Trinamool Congress Chief Ms. Mamata Banerjee was sworn-in as the West Bengal Chief Minister Friday afternoon. State Governor M.K. Narayanan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Ms. Banerjee. The swearing in ceremony of the new Council of Ministers is in progress at the Raj Bhavan in Kolkata. AIR correspondent reports, that besides Ms. Banerjee, 42 Ministers including seven from the Congress party are taking oath at a glittering function that began at 1.00 pm. Union Ministers P. Chidambaram and Pranab Mukherjee are present at the swearing-in ceremony.
