West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has reiterated her demand that the centre should agree to a 3-year moratorium on the huge interest burden of the state on loans. She said the state inherited a debt burden for the over 2,00,000 crore loans taken by the previous Left Front government in the past. She said the state is unable to pay and she will wait for 15 more days for a response to her demand.
