TMC leader and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is holding a protest rally at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi against government's demonetisation move. <br/><br/>JDU chief Sharad Yadav and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan also joined the rally. <br/><br/>Addressing the rally, Mr Yadav said the poor have been badly affected by the government's decision and the relief announced by the government is not visible. <br/><br/>He said the Prime Minister should come to Parliament and explain to the nation why such a drastic measure was considered without making proper preparations from before.<br/><br/><br/>Opposition parties including Congress, TMC, JD(U), BSP, CPI(M) are opposing the recent decision. Earlier, in the morning, all opposition party MPs sat on a dharna in front of Mahatma Gandhi's statue in Parliament House.
