West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata has dismissed Modi's recent interaction with people at tea shops as a drama. She said, unlike the saffron party, her party does not enact drama during election time. Addressing a party convention in Kolkata, she said they interact with people throughout 365 days to get information about the problems of the people. She vowed to take her party to the national scene post-Lok Sabha election.
Banerjee said, she will remain in state politics. She dismissed as political drama, Narendra Modi's suggestion that she could realise her dream of West Bengal's progress if there is a BJP-led government at the Centre. She said her party is also targeting states like UP, Bihar, Haryana, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Assam. She said they may also contest in Delhi.
