Indian cricket’s batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar was today felicitated by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the Cricket Association of Bengal at the Eden Gardens for scoring a centuary of international hundreds.

Tendulkar was presented a golden bat and ball by Banerjee, while association president Jagmohan Dalmiya gifted hundred guineas – one for each hundred – to the batting genius before the Indian Premier League (IPL) clash between the Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders began at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
