The West Bengal Chief Minister Miss Mamata Banerjee today asked the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to reconsider the 5 year ban on film star and co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders team in the Indian Premiere League (IPL), Shah Rukh Khan from entering the Wankhede Stadium. She said that Shah Rukh Khan is the brand Ambassador of West Bengal and that she requests MCA authorities to reconsider their decision. Backing Shah Rukh in the brawl cast that took please at the Wankhede Stadium on last Wednesday night, Miss Banerjee said their must have been some misunderstanding. MCA President Vilasrao Deshmukh earlier in the day announced that Shah Rukh Khan has been banned from entering the Wankhede Stadium for five years following his scuffle with MCA officials on Wednesday night.
