In a shocking incident, an Additional District Collector, Mr. Yashwant Sonawane of Malegaon has been allegedly burnt alive by kerosene adulteration traders at Manmad near Nashik on Tuesday. Yashwant Sonawane was conducting a raid to curb black marketing the adulterated kerosene traders, where the incident took place. He was declared dead on his arrival in the hospital. According to inputs RNU Mumbai has received, local police were not informed about this raid. Police have detained 3 persons in this case. Meanwhile, Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has said that strict action will be taken against the culprits.
