Maldivian President, Mohammad Nasheed is traveling to India tomorrow on a five-day visit, to discuss among other subjects a common approach on the climate change issues ahead of the December Copenhagen Climate Summit. According to diplomatic sources, to coincide with the visit Indian companies will announce plans to establish major infrastructure facilities in the northern Maldives that could attract investment to the tune of 400-500 million dollars. The projects identified include an international airport, a port with transshipment facility and tourism development. <br/>
