Ahead of the Copenhagen summit, Maldivian President Nasheed is hosting a two day summit starting from tomorrow at Bandos Island Resort for the developing nations most vulnerable to climate change. The meeting aims to forge a common position among developing, vulnerable countries, on the contentious issue of financing for climate adaptation and green growth. It also hopes to provide a platform for vulnerable nations to air their concerns and offer solutions, ahead of the Copenhagen Climate Summit in December and beyond.
