Maldives President Abdulla Yameen today appeared in public for the first time since Thursday night's Supreme Court ruling, saying that he is currently in talks with justices to find adequate room to enforce the ruling. <br/><br/>The ruling had ordered release of opposition leaders and scrapped disqualification of opposition MPs. <br/><br/>Mr Yameen said, a dialogue has been initiated and they are working on fully deciphering the Supreme Court ruling. <br/><br/>Speaking to a number of supporters gathered in front of his campaign office, Mr. Yameen announced that he is relaunching his bid for presidency. He also came down heavily at the four opposition leaders, calling them frauds and criminals.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, the parliament session scheduled from Monday, has been postponed indefinitely citing security reasons. <br/><br/>The court order to reinstate the 12 MPs gives the opposition a majority in parliament, which has the power to impeach the president. <br/><br/>Earlier, Opposition parties had appealed to the international community including the UN, EU, and India to impress upon the Maldives Government to respect the Supreme Court ruling. <br/><br/>Opposition parties had already brought an impeachment motion against speaker which is pending. <br/><br/>In another development, President Abdulla Yameen fired a national police chief for the second time in three days.
