Indian shuttlers P V Sindhu and RMV Gursaidutt today entered the quarterfinals of the women's and men's singles category at the Malaysia Grand Prix Gold badminton tournament in Kuala Lumpur. Top seeded Sindhu defeated Ngan Yi Cheung of Hong Kong 11-21, 21-18, 21-10 in a three-game women's singles second round match, whereas Gurusaidutt beat Riichi Takeshita of Japan, 21-19, 21-16.However, the other Indian men's singles contenders, K Srikanth and Sameer Verma bowed out of the tournament after losing their respective third round ties.
