Malaysia Open: Saina Nehwal vs Tzu Ying Tai in Women's Singles SF

<br/>India's shuttle queen and London Olympics Bronze medalist Saina Nehwal will lock horns with Tzu Ying Tai of Chinese Taipei in the Women's Singles semi-final match of the Malaysia Open Super Series Badminton tournament at Kuala Lumpur today. Saina, who recently regained her World Number Two status, advanced into the semi-finals yesterday, after her Japanese opponent Nozomi Okuhara retired in the third game due to a knee injury, when the scoreline read, 21-11, 14-21, 2-0. Saina is the lone Indian left in the tournament.<br/><br/>In yesterday's another result, the Indian duo of Ashwini Ponnappa and Pradnya Gadre crashed out of the Women's Doubles category. The pair lost to the Indonesian team of Aprilsasi Variella and Vita Marissa, 21-18, 13-21, 13-21.
