Saina, who recently regained her World Number Two status, advanced into the semi-finals yesterday, after her Japanese opponent Nozomi Okuhara retired in the third game due to a knee injury, when the scoreline read, 21-11, 14-21, 2-0. Saina is the lone Indian left in the tournament.<br/><br/>In yesterday's another result, the Indian duo of Ashwini Ponnappa and Pradnya Gadre crashed out of the Women's Doubles category.
