Malaysia Open: Saina Nehwal to clash with Tai Tzu Yin in semi-finals

Ace Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal will take on Tai Tzu Ying from Taiwan today in the women's singles semi-finals of the Malaysia Open Super Series Premier tournament. At Shah Alam yesterday, World No. 8 Saina recovered from a game deficit to beat Thailand's Porntip Buranaprasertsuk at the quarterfinals stage of the 550,000 US Dollar event. Saina has a 5-8 record against the Chinese Taipei shuttler, who has beaten the Indian in their last five meetings, including in last month's All England Championship.Another Indian, P V Sindhu, however, crumbled under pressure to bow out of the women's singles. She lost to World No. 4 Ratchanok Intanon of Thailand.
