Malaysia defeated defending champions India 5-2 in the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup at Ipoh in Malaysia today. In first half, Malaysia was leading 1-0. India won two penalty corners in the 18th and 21st minutes. Both attempts were made by Ravinder Pal Singh. While first was deemed dagnerous by umpire, Baljit Singh charged down the second attempt.
