Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today said India has achieved a remarkable feat as in the last one year the country has remained completely free from polio without witnessing even a single case. Azad said country was making history in its fight against polio.

He was speaking at the launch of National Polio Round for 2012 at Rashtrapati Bhavan today.

President Pratibha Devisingh Patil administered polio vaccine drops to eight children on the occasion.
