Secretary in the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion Amitabh Kant has said that Make in India initiative has had a tremendous impact on the investment climate. Talking to reporters in New Delhi today, Mr Kant said, the initiative have got substantial investment in various sectors. He said, infrastructure the key focus for growth and the Department is working on an enabling ecosystem for start ups. Mr Kant said, in order to provide greater momentum to the initiative, Government is organizing Make in India week in February next year which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister. Make in India initiative was launched in September last year by the Centre to focus on invigorating the country's manufacturing sector.
