In Assam,the main rivers are in spate at several places due to incessant rains in the last a few days. The river Brahmaputra and its tributaries flowing above the danger level.Teok,Kakjan and Puthi river flooded Aajarguri,Mudiojan areas of Jorhat district. At least 700 families of the district affected by the recent waves of flood. Several low lying areas of the city are also facing problem of water logging. Flood affected people took shelter in safe and high areas. Meanwhile, Brahmaputra at Neamatighat and its tributaries Dhansiri and Beki river flowing above the danger level.
